System Update: September 9
What a week! Today’s update brings a load of changes, UI improvements, new devices, and general quality-of-life improvements to Axion. Thank you to our beta test team for the suggestions, keep ’em coming!
Plugins
- Plugins can be added by dragging and dropping into the “Devices” folder on Axion using your desktop PC or Mac.
- Plugins run fully isolated, so in the event an uploaded plugin crashes or misbehaves, the rest of your signal chain continues uninterrupted.
Devices
- All devices now have on-screen paginated dock to edit all parameters using the encoders.
- All pedal models are now circuit-accurate representations of the original physical pedals.
- New device: Kompressor, a circuit-accurate Keeley compressor model.
- New device: Limiter, specifically for keeping volume controlled on stage or on dynamic chains.
- New device: Blue Chorus, an 80’s style chorus pedal perfect for synthpop, new wave, and more.
- New device: Swell (with auto-swell) for both manual and automatic volume swells.
- New device: Pug Blast overdrive for a unique heavy, almost fuzz sound.
- New device: Facemelt, a circuit-accurate fuzzface model.
- New device: Tape delay, for authentic-sounding analog delay effects.
Other
- Desktop app released, with backup/restore/export, and live signal path monitoring.
Coming Next:
- Full-featured parameter mapping to all control surfaces (midi, encoders, expression pedals)
- Splitting, mixing, and merging parallel audio paths / chains.
