Turn it on, choose a genre, and play. That’s the whole setup.

For when you want to make music without configuring a custom rig, Plug & Play mode gets you playing on Axion the second you turn it on. You get five ready-made effects, each assigned to one of the five footswitches, all your amp controls under your fingers, and a whole shelf of amps you can flip through with a swipe. Nothing to read, nothing to program. Pick a genre, pick your sound, and go.

Pre-built pedal boards

Every Plug & Play rig loads five effects across the footswitches, hand-picked for each genre: a compressors, drives, some modulation, a delay, and a reverb. We dialed them in to sit together nicely, so you’re not stuck troubleshooting why everything sounds thin. Kick one on, kick all five on, and it sounds great the whole way through. Need more? No problem, just tap to swap out effects or exit Plug & Play to get full control on the Rig Editor.

Five knobs, no menus

Gain, Bass, Mid, Treble, and Volume each get their own knob right under the screen. The controls you need, instant and right up front. Adjust your tone in the middle of a song with ease; if you’ve ever touched an amp, you already know how to use it.

Whatever your style, there’s a rig for it

Plug & Play comes loaded with rigs built for actual playing, by performing musicians in each genre. From chimey blues cleans to edge-of-breakup, walls of sound for metal, jangly indie shimmer, smoky late-night jazz, and so much more. Load one up, settle into the pocket and create some magic!
